September 2024 is a big month for us at Hinds Energy, and it’s not only because we are working hard to prepare for the heating season ahead! We are proud to announce that Hinds Energy is celebrating its 80th birthday on September 11, 2024.
It was way back in September 1944 that Eldred J. Hinds established the Hinds Oil Co., not far from where our business is today in Montrose, Pennsylvania. It started as a two-person operation with Eldred and his beloved wife, Carol, until they were joined by their sons Allyn and Duane. Today, their grandsons Mike, Steve, and Jim run the company.
Proudly locally and family-owned, Hinds Energy would not have been able to grow into the full-service heating and cooling company that we are today if it weren’t for our friends and neighbors. With your loyal support, we have been able to consistently evolve from delivering heating oil to offering heating, cooling, and indoor air quality services that include maintenance tune-ups, equipment evaluations, and full system installations, all to help improve your comfort.
We have witnessed a lot of change during our 80 years in business, and while trends come and go, the one thing that will continue to remain a constant is our dedication to you and your family’s comfort.
